Let Go of the Future

"Everyone has two choices. We're either full of love... or full of fear."

- Albert Einstein

As we're growing up we're told we should focus on the future, plan for it, reach for it, strive for it, grasp for it. While this has some value in helping determine where we want to go and who we want to be, when we linger too long we lose sight of where we are now.

For in reality, all we have is the present moment.

The past is no longer and the future does not yet exist.

"Wherever you go, there you are."
- Jon Kabat-Zinn

In this moment, the only thing we truly possess, we have a choice.

We can chose to be kind or cruel, helpful or hurtful, loving or hateful.

There is always a choice.

There is always a choice.

So rather than living in a past that no longer exists, or dwelling in a future that has yet to be, accept where you are now, and you will truly be free.
